First Love

The next day was hard for him to get up and experience the things in a new way. New room, New roommate, New Friend and of course the New Lifestyle. He got up three hours late from his usual time and was still lying down in bed when Anirudh asked “Arjun get up its 8.30 and you need to have breakfast. Its ok forget whatever happenend yesterday ! There is always a new day, a new beginning, So what a day went bad the next day might go awesome ?

After getting fresh he was about to call his new friend Anamika and just at the nick of time Anamika’s phone came and he started feeling that shit “Wow..something is there between us..” They both went together to mess had there breakfast went class together, Arjun was not at all interested because he  was afraid that he will not be able to face his previous group.But it was Anamika who supported Arjun. She said “How long will you be afraid of them ? You wont go today,tomorrow day after tomorrow,10 days ? But sometime you will have to go and face them ! Then why don’t you face those Jackasses today ?” Arjun went with full confidence only after listening to his inspirational theme The time Is Now ! He entered his class normally thinking whom to greet because his six friends who were from the beginning were sitting all together and for the first time Arjun was unable to locate his seat. Meanwhile he was thinking “Its just his previous group and Mehar who is supposedly are not talking with me, Why are others not talking to me or why there seems to be a sudden change in the behaviour of them.??” And Arjun quietly sat in the last corner 1^st bench remembering the same bench he used to sit all alone in school.Professor came he is in his thought process. Professor Sachin was teaching Geometry and Arjun in his virtual world ,he saw him and asked in a loud clear voice “where the hell are you ?” He felt disgusted and ashamed on his first day of separation with his group, he looked at them and they exchanged glances with him, Meanwhile he heard Mehar laughing at the current scene.Sachin threw Arjun out of the class,Impatient Arjun went straight to his room,don’t know what to do.He was feeling like the pain of whole world is on him,so much anger was there in his eyes on his face !He opened his bag packed clothes and without telling anyone he left for his home. Anirudh phones messages came he did not reply to any,Anamika was concerned he did not reply to her because he was selfish at that time only thinking about himself not about any other person. It took 8 hours to reach home and meanwhile during the journey he was asking himself again and again “Is this what I wished an independent life to be ? I am wasting one hell of golden moments of my life.

On reaching home his parents were surprised too,why he came all of  a sudden. He explained all the things to his mother everything what happened. His mom said the same thing what Anamika said “The more you run,The more you will get weak and The more you will be weak,The more you will hate yourself.” He realized that “What am I doing?” and took 2 days to get over the fact that he has finally lost his previous group friends and their chapter is over, new chapter is Anamika !God really gave me the reason to again live happily.”and went back to Noida the third day happily.

Arjun got busy with Anamika and her class friends that he gradually started forgetting that he ever had a group in his life. The new routine was getting up at 6 in the morning then 3hours gym then breakfast at 9.45 with Anamika and then the whole day with her. Lunch together, going to classes together, bunk together, even sitting for hours in chilly weather too.

Arjun started feeling something something for her,He did not know anything about her,But he was quite sure about his feelings for Anamika.They used to sit in an isolated place in college where no one can see them,no one can hear them and no one can observe them.Arjun took a step ahead and started that something something with cuddling,so did she !And from this moment their something something started turning into real thing. They came close share their past spent whole day physically and whole night through mentally One day Anamika was little upset rearding her ex involvement in life again. She discussed the matter with Arjun and he took an action called His ex who lives in California and said in a very define manner “That She is all mine ! Get the hell out of here…!”

Both gave time equally to each other and tried knowing their deepest secrets. It was Saturday afternoon and Arjun does not have any college,his dad called up to inform Arjun that his mom will be visiting her hometown Agra and will stop at New Delhi Railway station for 10-15 minutes if you can go and meet her,she will feel surprised and happy.

Arjun on the other side was confused weather he should take Anamika with her to meet his mother or not.Without any further delay he quickly told Anamika “that you have to be ready within 10 minutes we are going somewhere”. Surprised Anamika asked where ? and Arjun just said Just be ready Il tell you later.

Just when they reached the station he told Anamika that “My mother is coming and I wanted you to meet the most special person in my life”.

Anamika said “Awww…!” and hugged Arjun.

When Arjun meet his mother the first thing he did he touched her feet and then introduced Anamika to her mom.His mother exchanged a few glances with him,as she was trying to say that “Is she you girlfriend ?” and in the exchanged glances he said no.!

The meeting was very delightful and happening too because for the first time Arjun made someone to meet his girl and that too Anamika who came right at that time when he wanted someone.

And slowly and slowly their story began,when she said one day when they were siting in the garden at the evening time that “I have never found as perfect as handsome as hot and as loving and caring you are, I really really like you a lot.” And Arjun was pretty surprised and got emotional too and he hugged her and got down on his knees and said, “Anamika Sharma You came exactly at that time when I was fully broken up and from that day I am in love for the first time in my life, The real love…Anamika I love you and I will be there for you whenever you need me and whenever you want me.”

Anamika just said yes,I love you too. And they got into a relationship in just  15 days.

Arjun was never so happy before. Milan from his previous group friend too got in relation and Aaliya continued to ride the cocktail with Pranay.Life was busy and so were the people.And time just passed by.There was a hustle that Arjun Singhania got committed with Anamika Sharma.Some people he knew came suggesting him leave her as soon as possible,She is not a good soul.

He was again in a dilemma,weather these guys are right or wrong.But at last he made up his mind and continued his relationship with Anamika.

Semester exams were right on the corner and before that loads of submission.Arjun had already submitted his work and was appreciated in class also,Anamika asked Arjun if he can do her submission work.To this Arjun said “That’s it,you just order I will do the rest sweetheart. And poor Arjun spend the whole night just doing her work,and was not at all acknowledged too,which made Arjun think that “I did not sleep whole night,was too much into her work and she did not even care to say THANKS forget about the rest.” He started thinking that something is definitely not right.

He did not have anyone with whom he can share his feelings,what all he was going through.His mom and dad were so dam busy in the family issues that he did not feel like disturbing them and his brother Aakash was living his perfect life as he was shifted in Hyderabad with his job in Fiat Motors,perfect apartment,a perfect girlfriend and what else one will need.So Arjun preferred to stay quiet and observe.

Exams came and he made Anamika understand the content,made her learn the things what Arjun knew and he again like a fool did not care about himself,and the only focus was Anamika.

They went and she scored the highest and did not even care to appreciate the hard work of someone behind her success.Arjun started feeling pissed off but again he prefered to remain quiet.

Winter break came and Arjun with his mom dad planned a short 4 days trip to Manali to admire the Snow and the chilly weather.He thought to spent the best moments with his family than to think of Anamika or anyone else.But LOVE IS BLIND.The whole day he used to be with his family enjoying the sights ,the views,clicking pictures and when they used to come back at their hotel where they were staying.Arjun again like a big fool used to sit on clear floor in -1 degree temperature just to talk with Anamika who did not even care to send at least one message in whole day.He everyday used to sit on the floor to chat to talk with her because there mobile network were not strong and he used to use their WIFI.He indeed felt the fucking cold but he used to ignore that hoping if he is getting the happiness in talking to her,so what if he can take some cold inside him.

Holidays got over and again the college routine started.

21^st January 2014

Arjun was not feeling well so he was in his room trying to get some sleep,and he got a message from Mehar

“Dear Arjun

I know Its been really long time and I hope you are well,I just wanted you to know that.On that day I was being forced by Aaliya,Shaunaya,Ritika,Pranay and Avantika to say all that.I got influenced by them and did not even think about how close we were at a point of time.I don’t know how will you react.But I just want if we can solve our differences and be the same we were just like before.I am very very sorry.Hope you understand.”

Arjun was stunned to see what in the world is happening ,nearly after two and a half months she wrote this.????

He ignored the message and took a nap,suddenly his phone rings and he saw Deepak calling him another classmate.Deepak on phone says “Brother where are you Anamika just got collapsed….Come soon Bro.!”

Arjun again said the same thing,what in the world is happening today..?? He got up and quickly ran towards the class in his lowers only.Just after reaching he saw Ananmika is on the ground and everyone just standing in a group,Arjun got emotional and said “SO what If I am her boyfriend Cant you dumb people,Just pick her up and put her on the table.

He did not observe that in that same class three faculties were also standing.He picked her up and put her on the table.Milan his old buddy went to bring his car down near his department and went straight to hospital.Arjun was frightened to see her in this state because he has never experienced a hospital life so close.

Doctors said she needs to be admitted and taken care in the hospital only, Arjun was confused what should he do ? Acting like a mature adult stay with her till the time she gets discharged or just admit her and leave her independently in the hands of a local hospital.

He was only a 18 year old boy and he decided to stay there till she gets discharged forgetting about his classes in the college, his gym, everything.

Arjun seriously acted like a husband give her milk, fruits, medicines on time and even solely took the responsibility to talk to her parents and make her convey that she is safe till the time I am here.They immediately transferred the money in her account.

As a result what Arjun gets on the last day is Anamika says “Arjun you are indeed a great guy but I seriously cannot continue the relation,I am sorry I don’t love you anymore and I just cant be with you.” Arjun was broken in half, he seriously did not expect this behavior even after doing all this for her,she ended everything very cheaply,without even caring for the moment what Arjun did for her.

A mere love story that just started in Arjun Singhania’s life was finished…
