Why I should be your next Personal Trainer!

Before I promote myself on why I should be your next personal trainer, let me ask you a question through this blog of mine, why do you need to be fit? The answers can vary from having a mental peace to impressing girls. Everyone will have their own reason. According to recent study done by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found that running for 15 minutes a day or walking for an hour reduces the risk of major depression by 26%. Well, another big reason on why you should be fit as it cures depression. (Lawrence Robinson, et. al 2023) Now fitness can be measured in several ways that don’t involve gym. For example move in around your home, do not be a couch potato, get active with the family, monitor closely on what you are eating. (Lawrence Robinson, et. al 2023) This above scholarly extract proves a point here that you need to have a positive approach to remain fit and that is what I am trying to convey through this video of mine. https://youtu.be/5wmXhOBCqO4

There are two things that I wanted to say from this clip above, first I can help one achieve their goals how different they maybe, (cutting down the weight/fat % or gaining weight and muscles) and secondly, the targeting audience which are the students community. There’s also a reason behind why I chose the students community than any other group of individuals because when I started working out I was a student too and I know the hardships and difficulties that hinder around at that point of time. For instance, budget was always an issue, scarcity of resources when it came to certain foods, supplements were something I could never afford. So, eliminating all these factors I developed myself as a person who could still be fit, fit enough to play a sport and do modelling professionally which honestly, I never thought I will achieve but I did because of a positive mindset and a will to never give up, no matter what.

Strategies in planning and executing this task was quite an exhilarating one as you were the actor, director, editor and screenwriter all at the same time. But when it comes to carry forward a certain task, I am very old school, I don’t panic for starters. I plan out what am I going to say, what should be the sequence of activities. So, I wrote all that and tried to execute the same and make it a little creative by adding the feedbacks in the above video that I have listed in p1. I used a tripod to make the videos in all the different locations. I had a thought in my mind to execute some clips in the gym which will make it more authentic but then looking at the public and the noise in the gym, I had to cancel that thought. So, I chose all the outdoor locations in bright sunny daylight. I wanted to follow a certain sequence as mentioned, where I am performing a skill (summersault) and then following up with a brief introduction. Then adding up with my recent client’s feedback and then focusing on the title of this blog. For editing, I used CapCut and Canvas applications as my two-editing software.

There were couple of lessons that I ensured to execute in my presentation which were the eye contact with the camera while speaking, ensuring who is my target audience, the motive of personal branding, conveying my message. And with the help of the lessons included in the unit ‘Social Media and Collaboration’ I was able to focus on the above mentioned aspects. But it was not always a smooth sailing, I did face few challenges when it came to editing the video, there were certain elements in which I wanted to edit it but I was not very familiar with the above two applications mentioned, so I took the help of YouTube and learnt the tricks and applied the same in my presentation.

In contemplation of the discussion which started with, why you should hire me as your next personal trainer! I reckon I have made quite valid points and here’s a short-summarized version of the same.
1. I know my target audience well because that is the age where you can save yourselves from making some bad and risky decisions in the field of fitness
2. I provide budget friendly meal ideas, so anyone can stay fit and healthy
3. I am a keen learner, do not give up easily. Talking from my own experience and effort that I took on making the video.
4. I’ve a creative mind and I follow a systematic approach in performing a task and I take things seriously.
5. I value my client’s goals and their feedback.

I hope after reading this blog post and watching the video of my personal branding I was able to convince few audiences why hiring me as your personal trainer won’t be a bad option.
